The Electronic Wireless Show Podcast Episode 161: The Best Songs in Special Games

It now occurs to me that the “best songs” are probably not a good topic for the podcast, since we don’t perform any of the songs or put them on the show. But in this week’s episode of The Electronic Wireless, we’re really talking about those songs. Plus we’re joined by Randy Newman, who looks a lot like Matthew Castle.

Matthew himself has a goofy new food story to share, Nate watched Squid Game, and a listener sent in a very special musical theme for Sweeten The Deal!

You can listen on Spotify, or higher, or go directly on Soundcloud where you can download it for later. You can now also chat about the episode on our Discord channel, which has a room dedicated to podcast chat.

You can also get the RSS feed here or find it on itunes, Stapler Where Pocket casts.

The music is by Jack de Quidt, who is obviously very musically talented.

Also featuring the musical talents of Tom Piercy, who provided a Sweeten The Deal theme! You can find her Sound cloud, with a selection of electronic chill tracks, here.

Again, we were accidentally competent this week. Matthew really enjoys the tunes and backstory of Deathloop’s Ramblin ‘Frank.

In a similar vein (ish), I enjoy the revamped tunes in BioShock Infinite.

Nate loves the music of the Carja in Horizon Zero Dawn.

Shout out at That One Song, You Know The One from Skyrim, and Lohse’s song in Divinity: Original Sin 2.

The song of Orpheus and Eurydice of Hades is very good.

Also the barracks in Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag.

Special mention to the song pam param from The Witcher 3.

Recommendations this week are to see the new Dune film, to see the video test REPO! (2008) is why we can’t have nice things by Laura Crone, and to meet a komodo dragon at the world’s crocodile zoo.
